Code of Conduct
1. Read the notices daily to be kept up to date on events planned for the day.

2. Be respectful to one another during Roleplay and observe proper roleplay etiquette as referenced in the Roleplayers Etiquette Guide.(Coming soon)
3. You will obey and abide by judgments on stated rules, directions and decisions from all Faculty and Prefects appointed by the Headmistress. It will be the Faculty or Prefect on scenes job to raise appeals up to the Headmistress. Please take this seriously.
4. Students will address Faculty with proper honorifics such as: Sir, Mr, Miss, Mrs, or Ma'am. Other specific variations may be requested by the Faculty member.
Note: Do not address the Headmistress as "Headmistress" You will call her Miss Sky, or other variations of Miss, Ma'am, etc.
5. Speak politely, use your manners or you will be corrected. Say please, thank you, do not yell "Hey" at Faculty. Remember to exercise courtesy and respectfulness towards students and staff alike.

6. Classroom etiquette dictates that you will raise your hand to ask a question and stand to speak when called upon. You can accomplish raising your hand by emoting. After you have finished your question you will take your seat again so the Professor knows you are finished speaking.

7. During active Classes, Clubs, or activities, please make sure the Class or Club Organizer, i.e. The Teacher or Club Leader knows you are leaving if you intend to leave early. This is to avoid confusion and so plans can be made to the benefit of the ongoing activity or lesson.

8. During Classes & Clubs, if you do not wish to participate, be off campus for the duration of the class or club ongoing in respect for the teacher or club lead. This directive counts for every student or prep, and generally no excuses will be accepted, as you all have access to info about the SHA schedule, and hence are able to plan your whereabouts.
9. While in uniform students will stand when Faculty enters a room and greet politely and you will require permission to sit. This applies to uniformed students across campus. Students will not stand up during an ongoing Class or Club as it would be disruptive and inconsiderate to the Professor or Club Leader.
10. When you are in the presence of Faculty, you will ask for permission to be excused before going AFK, leaving the room, or logging off.
11. If you need to go AFK please politely excuse yourself from any public setting you might be in. Make it known you are going afk so people around you don't think you are just inattentive. Even a quick BRB is better than assumed lack of interest in a class or club. Take this as an opportunity to step out to a quiet out of the way area to idle. If you do not have the time to do so please have a valid excuse ready upon returning. This applies to everyone, not just students!
Note: It is expected Etiquette and manners to make others know if you are leaving rather than leaving without notice even with no Faculty present.
12. If you need to cancel a Student club, or for professors, a Class, please do so as soon as possible to avoid last minute cancellations and confusion. Customary polite time frame to cancel your classes or clubs within is a minimum of 2 hours prior.
13. Do not talk to each other through walls to maintain a level of realism. Instead, initiate conversation, or knock on a door. Use situations like this to create a roleplay!
14. Do not shout across the entire campus, shouting has a 100m wide range, be considerate of people around you and use it only if realistic as part of a scene.
15. You will not abuse gestures or any kind of loud obnoxious sound files in conversation. Spamming can be disruptive and will be met with a swift warning and punishment if done.
16. Close doors behind you, there are many buildings with self closing doors but many that are not, you will close doors behind you. Let's keep our school looking pretty and organized.
17. There are private areas on Campus that guests should not be shown in tours or visits. Private Dorm rooms, personal homes or offices. Please be considerate of private spaces and request permission if there is a need to show any of these spaces.

18. The Dormitory is Co-ed however the individual Dorm bedrooms therein are not. Boys have their own bedrooms and girls do as well. A Girl could, with consent and an invitation, visit the Boys Dorm bedroom, and vice versa for a boy visiting a girls Dorm bedroom. But in neither cases will boys or girls sleepover without express permission from the Headmistress, Deputy Head, or Dorm Mother.
